Maxine Chernoff and Forrest Gander to Read at Copperfield’s

Scheduled to read on September 15th, 3 pm, at Copperfield’s Books, 140 Kentucky Street, downtown Petaluma.

Poet/fiction writer Maxine Chernoff’s most recent books are “Camera” (Subito) and the forthcoming “Under the Music: Collected Prose Poems” (MadHat Press). An NEA fellow in poetry in 2013, she also won the 2009 PEN Translation Award. She is a Co-Founding Editor of New American Writing, and has taught at San Francisco State University for many years.

Forrest Gander (not pictured) was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry this year. He is an American poet, novelist, critic, essayist and translator. He lives in Petaluma.
